Ryukyu Kobujutsu is a combat weapons system developed in Okinawa.  The system has a total of 42 weapons kata with complete bunkai and includes the weapons such as the Roku shaku bo (6-foot staff ), the Sai (dagger with two curved side prongs) and Tonfa (baton with handle) to name just a few.

You need no previous experience to study Kobujutsu and we are always happy to except new students. Kobujutsu is often studied as a supplementary art to go with another martial art, however this is by no means necessary, it is a rich and dynamic martial art, with excellent benefits for both complete beginners and experienced students from any art.
